"I can't date you.. you make me sick.."

funny (and flattering from my part) why most of the people i meet find it easy to talk to me about personal things. no matter how shallow or deep, or opposing their views could be, no matter how annoying, frustrating, unending the conversation may get.

while waiting at waterfront's lobby for the convention to start, our director just started talking to me and telling me her "dating" stories (out of her boredom, i dunno).. She said, she gets these weird things when she dates - sometimes she gets nauseus, sometimes she gets allergies. Although she really liked some of the men she dated, she dumped them because she got nauseus.

There was this one guy she thought she can get serious with but since the nausea striked, "buh-bye, boie". there's this another guy she dated who apparently gives her really bad rashes whenever he kisses her.. like, her lips or cheeks would get bumpy or swollen from allergies.. that's why whenever they made out, she would need to rush to the restroom to wash his saliva off of her face... haha ...she also ended her relationship with her 2-year boyfriend because there had a time when she felt the nausea when she was still with him.

(Bug: She spent two years with that guy and was already planning their wedding.. then, because of feeling nauseus, she backed out and ended the relationship..? That's two years, mahn.. two years is still two years. Cguro minsan, it doesn't really matter how long you've known the person... sometimes when a person feels they're not meant to be together, s/he will tend to take little imperfections as gigantic ones.. dapat cguro wag na lng ipilit..)

she had resolved that these must be signs that tell her "you're dating the wrong guy!".. and she uses it as her guide to dating men.. but she's somehow bothered by it.. and she's asking me what she's gonna do. i wanted to tell her, "halllerrr...?! you've been in the dating scene longer than i do.." When she gets these weird signs - getting nauseus or having allergies - she'd let the guy go, thinking that it just won't work.

My assumption is (and I told her this already) that maybe she feels nausues because maybe she gets nervous when she's getting serious with the person. Told her jokingly to date a doctor, "maybe, he can do something about the nausea.. first aid kaagad.. you just have to tell him when you're starting to feel the symptomps.."

but the other boss, although we weren't really talking to her, quoted me and adding one word, "maybe she gets nervous when she's getting serious with the wrong person".

she's got a point. kahit isa cyang malaking epal. ;)
